Our unparalleled program offers American school classes to students all over the world, and we’re looking for teachers like you to help us succeed!

How It Works

Our idea is simple: connect international students with American teachers. Parents want their children to be educated in English and on par with their American counterparts. We simply created a way to do that online.

As a teacher, all we ask of you is that you teach the same subjects you do each day at school. Classes range from 4-6 students, are fully online, and cover grades K-6. Our full course selection includes classes in Reading, Writing, Math, Science, History, Geography, & Music.

Open Positions

Extracurricular Director

Subjects: Piano, Guitar, Art, Etc.

Qualifications: Professional-level Skill, Native English Speaker, 3 Years (Minimum) Teaching Experience

Description: Our immersive approach to learning includes offering “extracurricular” activities to our students. Although piano, guitar, and art are our most-popular offerings, we are interested in expanding into lots of other areas! All applicants must have 3+ years of experience teaching children, professional qualifications in their discipline, and be native English speakers.

Each teacher chooses the times that they are available to teach, and then we confirm which times are needed for the upcoming trimester. We do ask that when you agree to a specific time(for example, “Monday, English, 5pm-6pm”), you agree to teach that same class for the whole trimester(a four-month period). Classes will be 5-6 students, with the possibility of one-on-one tutoring sessions(please ask recruitment staff for mor information).

Academic Teacher

Subjects: English(Reading & Writing), Math, Science, History/Geography

Qualifications: Teaching Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree, One Year(Minimum) Classroom Experience

Description: Your responsibilities are simple. You will teach the same classes you do in the classroom, with a class of 4-6 students on Zoom. We have a basic set of academic skills to be taught, and a few tests that students will be expected to take at the end of the trimester. We also encourage teachers to provide homework. However, you are the professional, and are free to teach the subject as you see fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Currently, we offer K-6 classes, meaning that all students should be between 5-12 years old. Although we generally follow the US grade system, we sometimes place students in grades below or above their age. This is done to make sure that students are at a similar level to their classmates(both in English skills and academically).

  • Not at all! We want our students to have the same classes they would attending a US school. During the intake process, we work to place students in the appropriate classes for their level. Naturally, you’ll have to be patient at times. However, you’ll see that students adjust quickly.

  • On the contrary! We assume that most of our teachers work full-time in the school system, and don’t expect you to work full time. What we do expect is that you will be able to work the at the same time each week. Outside of one-on-one tutoring sessions(offered separately), students are expected to attend the same classes at the same times each week. Logically, that means that we want the same teacher to be with those students each class. One trimester is four months at a time, and we ask that you commit to the same time slot for that four-month period.

  • Yes. When you apply, we will ask you to provide your availability(which you can change in the future). We then compare that availability with our students’, and tell you which time slots we’d like you to teach. Classes are one hour each, and can be done at whatever time of the day works best for you (one of the benefits of having students in different time zones)!

  • Yes! All applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree(or higher) and be current/former teachers in the US school system.

We sell our website as offering “American classes with registered teachers”. We want to sincerely provide that product for parents and students.

  • Legally, our teachers our 3rd party contractors. We do not withhold taxes for you, which means that you are expected to track and report your income individually.

  • Payments are sent out monthly on the 22nd. They can be sent through either Paypal or Payoneer.

  • Our school offers an immersive experience - divided into Academic, Extracurricular, and Entertainment classes. Pay rates are as follows:

    Academic - $50-$70

    Extracurricular - Starting $20

    Entertainment - Starting $20

There is no limit to how many hours you can work. It simply depends on the availability of students for that time.

  • We strive to provide a fully-immersive, language-learning experience for our students. To do so, we offer three types of classes.

Academic. These classes are taught by certified, US teachers. If your a K-12 teacher, this is the category of classes you’ll be teaching.

Extracurricular. Taught by specialists in a specific discipline. These classes include music, sports, theater, and the like.

Entertainment. Movie clubs, Book clubs, Yoga, and more! Taught by experts in each of these respective fields.

  • If you are unable to attend a lesson, we will have a substitute teacher fill in for you. Teachers should prepare a back-up plan for their substitutes to follow. We appreciate this forethought, and will pay you $10 for helping to keep our students on-track. However, please keep in mind that regular absences could lead to suspension from our teaching program.
